It is designed to help women discover their path. The authors write about their own spiritual journey and give examples from the lives of many of the women they know. Each chapter is part discussion/ part exercise. The exercises help the reader delve further into the own understandings of her personal beliefs. The authors speak about their own beliefs, but in no way expect all women to believe as they do. They have begun to question the patriarchal view of God common to western religions. This questioning has led them to wonder where the Feminine is in their understanding of God. The book has two basic sections: healing your own spiritual alienation and seeking spiritual connection. To take full advantage of what this book has to offer, you have to do more than read it. It takestime and deep thought to do the exercises in the book. This book, a journal and a commitment of time to work with the book would be a wonderful gift to yourself. Sacred Living, A Daily Guide, Robin Hereens Lysne Previously titled Dancing Up the Moon.
