We are sisters on a journey . . .

Mickey*, Carol (Past W&R member and current Roadshow Goddess), Patti (current Sophia editor), Misty* and Gretchen*
traveled to the Berrien Unitarian Universalist Fellowship in St. Joseph, Michigan
on August 18, 2002, to present our service on Honoring our Grandmothers.

To honor the Crones, Wise Women, and Grandmothers in our lives, we sang songs like Harry Belafonte's "Turn the World Around (Calypso Chant), the Women's Drumming Circle arrangement of "Ancient Mother," and Julie Shannon Geller's "We All Have Songs." Original prose and poetry are also part of our program, by writers Carol Hosmer, Misty Sheehan, Sally Gonzalez, Elly Wynia, and Oriah Mountain Dreamer. Our Honored Crone of the day was Kate Fuller, one of the founders of BUUF.

Thank you, people of BUUF, for your warm welcome and wonderful discussion!
